Ancmon, Michael J, 86, of Pompton Plains, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011. He was born in Newark, NJ and lived many years in Belleville and Forked River, NJ with his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary (D'Amore). Michael was a retired tool and die maker and served in the Army in Europe during WWII. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of Columbus. Michael is survived by his loving and devoted family, wife Mary, daughters, Michelle Kaye and Maria Allex, son-in-law, Raymond Allex, six step-grandchildren, Dr. Peter Kaye and his wife Gail, Robert Kaye, Elizabeth Allex, Rae Ann Allex, Olivia Allex, and Christina Allex. He also leaves behind brothers, Joseph and Robert and numerous other close family members. His beloved cat, Mr. Midnight, will especially miss him. Michael is predeceased by his parents, Julius and Anna (Hulbert), his son-in-law, Dr. J Walter Kaye and his siblings, Julius, Anna, Betty, and Mary. Viewing hours will be held Saturday, March19th ,2011, from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm-9pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A Mass will be offered on Monday March 21st, 2011 at St Anthony RC Church , Butler, NJ at 10am. Burial will follow the mass at Brigadier General Wiiliam C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Wrightstowns, NJ .
