Michael Schmiedhauser, age 53, of Butler, entered into eternal rest, Friday, October 20, 2006 at Sunrise Hospital And Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.Mr. Schmiedhauser was born September 2, 1953 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Richard Sr., and the late Josephine (Sanders) Schmiedhauser. He was retired from the Butler Police Dept., Butler, NJ, as a Detective.Mr. Schmiedhauser was a member of Police Benelovent Assoiation, Fraternal Order of Police, N.J. Honor Legion of Police, Passaic County Detectives Assoiation, Butler Police Assoiation, Charter member of the Butler Special Entry Rescue Team, N.J. State Delegate for the PBA, and Certified Fire Arms Instructor.Devoted husband of Diane (nee Patane). Beloved father of Melissa Hinsinger and husband Rich, and Eric Schmiedhauser. Loving brother of Richard Jr. and wife Donna, Chuck and wife Arlene, Susan Maurer and husband Paul, and Pete. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life friends Frank and Marrianne Yodice.Visiting hours will be Friday, October 27th ,2006, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
