Mildred Alice Defeo

Mildred Alice (nee Greensway), age 91, passed away on May 13, 2013; 6 days shy of her 92nd birthday. Mildred was a life long resident of Butler, a graduate of Butler High School in 1938, a retired employee of the Pearl R. Miller School and a member of the Butler United Methodist Church. Devoted mother to Bill and Joyce Smock, Jack and Rodonna Smock, Tom and Sharon DeFeo, and David and Nancy DeFeo. Loving and proud grandmother to ten grandchildren: Katie, Stephanie, Jack Jr., Doug, Tristina, Spencer, Morgan, Kyle, Randy and Matthew and five great grandchildren: Blake, Hayden, Laiken, Jack III and Amanda. Dear sister to Joyce LaSalla; Lewis Greensway and Bill Greensway and sister-in-law to Arthene Greensway. Cherished Aunt to Andrea, Barbara, Alice, Fred, Lewis, Danny, Carol, Linda and Toma. The family would like to thank family, friends and volunteers who supported and provided care for their mother. They would especially like to extend their gratitude to Linda Keizer, and Kristy and Scott Ricker for the loving care and unwavering support of their mother. Viewing will be from 10am to11am on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Butler United Methodist Church, 5 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday also at the church. If desired, donations may be made to The Butler United Methodist Church in memory of Mildred. Morrison's Funeral Home of Butler conducted arrangements and Mildred was laid to rest in Mount Rest Cemetery in Butler.
