Mildred Glynis

Mildred Glynis, age 86, of Pompton Plains, NJ, formerly of Riverdale, NJ, entered into eternal rest, Friday, March 20, 2009. Mrs. Glynis was born in Nutley, NJ, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Ruth (Lockwood) Sturges. She worked as a Administrative Assistant for Bell Labs Whippany, NJ, and was a member of the Bloomingdale Golden Agers, and a Pioneer of Bell Telephone. She is survived by her loving sister Naomi Crum, a dear nephew and two nieces, Jay Crum, Mae Mahonachek, and Donna Sisco. Also survived by many grand nieces, nephews, and great grand nieces and nephews. Mildred was pre deceased by her devoted husband John Glynis Jr., and her brother Arthur Stanzialle. Viewing hours will be Sunday, March 22nd, 2009, from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday, 11:00am at The First Reformed Church, Pompton Plains, NJ. Burial will follow at The First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains, NJ.
