Mildred Hnat, 103, cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and aunt, of Bloomingdale, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 20, 2020. Millie was born in 1916 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Lena and Patsy Del Cioppo. Mildred worked for Bard-Parker prior to retirement. She was a dedicated member of the United Methodist Church of Pine Mill and a volunteer of the Pine Mill Community Hall. She took joy in spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren enjoyed weekends and summers with Nan in Pennsylvania. Millie was dedicated to her family and friends. Her door was always open and a pot of coffee was always on. She will be forever remembered for her spitfire personality and endless sense of humor. Millie leaves many with the funniest memories and made up sayings that she has passed on. She is survived by her loving daughters Eleanor Livingston, of Equinunk, PA, and Elizabeth Grandioso and son-in-law Joseph Grandioso of West Milford, NJ, as well as daughter-in-law Rose Adam of Warwick, NY. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren John Schor, Paul Schror (Josephine), Eleanor Kennedy, Anthony Adam (Maria), Gina Scarpinato (Chris), John Zschoche, Thomas Zschoche, Marie Lautz (Tim) & Salvatore LoPresti (Barbara), 17 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, one sister Eleanor Asaro of Montville, NJ and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her devoted husband John, son Anthony R. Adam, son-in-law James Livingston, granddaughter Mildred Schror and grandson Thomas Adam. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 2pm 4pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
