Mildred Walsh

Mildred Walsh, age 100, of Butler, NJ, died Sunday, February 13, 2011. Mrs. Walsh was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Frances (Krauss) Horsken. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC church in Butler, NJ, a former member of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW in Lake Hopatcong, NJ and loved to knit and spend time with her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Patricia Ahlefeld and husband Victor, a loving brother Frank Horsken, three cherished grandchildren, Margaret Stouffer, Karen Crines and husband James and Victor W. Ahlefeld and wife Katharine, six adored great grand children, Kaitlin and Sean Stouffer, Ian and Shane Crines, and Greta and Victor Patrick Ahlefeld and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mildred was pre deceased by her devoted husband, William J. Walsh. Viewing hours will be Friday February 18th ,2011 from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30am also at the funeral home. Burial will to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
