Noreen E. Keane

Noreen E. Keane, a woman of unshakeable faith, departed this life for her reward on May 27, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Noreen was born to Louis and Mary Staufenberg on January 6, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York, the fifth of six children. She married Bill Keane on July 18, 1959 and together they raised two children. Noreen resided in Butler, New Jersey for over 40 years. She was employed by State Farm Insurance for 25 years and retired to help raise her five grandchildren. Noreen was predeceased by her parents, her brother, John Staufenberg, her sister, Kathleen O'Connell, her sister, Joan Bassolino and her brother-in-law, Frank O'Connell. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 53 years, Bill, her daughter, Mary Keane-Kosarek, and her husband, Chet, her son, Bill, and his wife, Kim, five grandchildren, Cassie Kosarek, Brian Keane, Noelle Kosarek, Matthew Kosarek, and Kaitlyn Keane, her brother, Robert Staufenberg and his wife, Dolores, her brother, Arthur Staufenberg, and his wife, Janet, her sister-in-law, Carol Staufenberg, and her brother-in-law, Anthony Bassolino, and a host of nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 from 10am to 12pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12:30pm at St Anthony RC Church, Butler,also on Thursday. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery Kinnelon, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's' Research Hospital.
