Patricia M Bergen

Patricia M. (Moran) Bergen died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on October 22, 2023. One of six children, she was born in the Bronx on January 16, 1945, to Michael and Mary (Howley) Moran. She attended St. Luke's Grammar School and Cathedral High School.

Patricia was a wonderful and caring mother, she raised her two children in Bloomingdale, NJ. She was a loving wife to her husband John J. Bergen Sr. They “retired” to Las Vegas, NV in 1990. Patricia enjoyed reading, cooking, entertaining, decorating and was a great crocheter. She was a devoted friend to many and she will be  dearly missed.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Christine (McGowan) Villalobos and son-in-law, William Villalobos, and her son, Terrance McGowan. She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren, Katie and Samantha Villalobos, and Jesse and Jenna McGowan. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband John (Feb. 4, 2006), her parents and her brothers Thomas, Michael and Robert Moran, her sisters Mary Corcoran and Kathleen Ginty. She is also predeceased by her sister-in-law Mary Moran, and brothers-in-law John Corcoran and James Ginty.

A mass will be offered on Thursday, November 2, 2023, 11:00am at St. Anthony's of Padua RC Church. 65 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ.
