Patricia Marie Gillen

Patricia Marie Gillen (nee Ryan) passed away peacefully at home with family in West Milford, NJ on March 28, 2022. She was 81 years old. Born to John and Helen Ryan in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on February 26, 1941. Patricia was a secretary on Wall Street for International Nickel Company before getting married in 1968. Patricia is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Peter J. Gillen, Jr. She is the devoted Mother of Peter J Gillen III (P.J.) and fianc Heather McCracken of Barry Lakes, NJ, daughter Mary Ellen Gillen of West Milford, NJ, and son Ryan Gillen of West Milford, NJ. She also is survived by her sister Carol Ann Crusi of Central Islip, NY and predeceased by her sister Maureen Looney of Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and little James. Patricia was a life-long member of St. Josephs Church in West Milford, NJ and very active with St. Josephs School. She loved to travel with her Husband Pete and family throughout the U.S. and was extremely devoted to her family and loved ones. Patricia will truly be missed for her unwavering love and kind heart. The family will receive their friends at Morrison Funeral Home at 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will commence at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022 with internment to follow at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford, NJ. .
