Patricia W. Leahy

Patricia W. Leahy, age 79, of Pompton Plains, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at her residence in Pompton Plains.Mrs. Leahy was born March 18, 1928 at Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late William and the late Catherine (Coan) Whalen. She was employed by N.J. Bell Telephone in Morristown, NJ, as a telephone operator, before retiring. Patricia was an avid gardener and a wonderful person. Devoted wife of the late David F. Leahy Sr. Beloved mother of David F. Leahy Jr., Catherine Oakes, Timothy Leahy, Noreen Morris, Mary Bridget Gentile, Patricia Haug, and the late Judith Taylor. Cherished grandmother of eleven grand children. Loving sister of Jack Whalen.Viewing hours will be Thursday, September 27th, 2007, from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Friday 11:00am at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help RC Church, 111 Clarmont Rd., Bernardsville, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated.Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in her memory.
