Wenzel, 67, ofButler, who died on July 18, 2007.Born in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, Mr. Wenzelresided in Butler for 39 years.Employed as a UAW Certified Toolmaker and Machinist byPotdevin Machine Co. for 39 years, Mr. Wenzel alsoserved as UAW Shop Chairman and Election CommitteeChairman. He was also a member of the Skilled TradesUnion.He served as liaison to Butler Boy Scout troop 101 andcoached the Butler Junior Bulldogs where he alsoserved as treasurer.Mr. Wenzel was a Past Grand Knight of St. Anthony'sKnights of Columbus Council #943 and was a member ofthe 4th Degree. He was a professed Secular Franciscan.He regularly attended St. Anthony's Church where hewas a lector.Mr. Wenzel is survived by his wife of 44 years, JoanT., daughters Laura Imbimbo and Deborah McGovern, foursons, Paul, John, William and Brian, son in-laws,Christopher and Gerald, daughter in-laws, Michelle andAnne, sixteen grandchildren, his mother Harriet,sister Ann, and brothers Edward and Walter.Arrangements are by the Morrison Funeral Home. Mr.Wenzel will be waked at Morrison Funeral Home, 86Bartholdi Ave, Butler, on Thursday July 19th. Visitinghours are 7:OOPM-9:OOPM. Mr. Wenzel will also be wakedat St. Anthony's Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, onFriday July 20th. Visiting hours are 2:OOPM-4:OOPM and7:OOPM-9:OOPM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at10:OOAM on Saturday July 21st, followed by burial atMount Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
