Paul P. Giancola, 81, of Kinnelon, formerly of Cedar Grove, passed away peacefully with his daughters at his side on January 19, 2023. Paul was a devoted husband and father, always encouraging his daughters to be the best they could be. A mechanical designer for 30+ years, he was also a proud home builder and renovator. Paul enjoyed building/adding onto the family homes, advising family and friends on their house projects, and helping his daughters improve their homes. He most loved being with his wife May and walking in the yard that he thoughtfully landscaped. Paul served in the Army National Guard in his earlier years and proudly wore his Army hat through his final days.
He is survived by his cherished children, Paula (Kevin Kuechler) and Lora Penola (John); his dear grandchildren, Isabella (Joe), Paul, Elizabeth, John, Adam, and Jacob; his sister, Alberta Van Zile (Russell); and brother-in-law, Ronald Watson. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, May; his parents, Angelo and Grace Giancola; his parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Heinkel; and his sister, Clare Watson.
