Peter Geniuk, age 84, Butler, formerly of Everegreen Park, Illinois, entered into eternal rest Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mr. Geniuk was born June 3, 1922 at Montreal, Canada, the son of the late Adam and the late Tekla (Kuchmak) Geniuk. He served in the Navy from 1942 to 1948 during World War II .He was employed by Bacon Tank Mfg., Illinois, where he was an office manager.Mr. Geniuk was a Navy Veteran in WWII, and menber of Butler United Methodist Church, Butler,N.J.He is survived by his devoted wife, Sophie (Gornicz) Geniuk of 60 years, beloved daughter, Janice Fogg and her husband John Fogg , and son, Peter Geniuk and his wife Michele Geniuk.Cherished grandfather of Tyler Fogg, Austin Fogg, Peter Geniuk, and Caitlin Geniuk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Thursday, June 22,2006, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Friday, June 23,2006, at 10:00am at Butler United Methodist Ccurch, 5 Bartholdi Ave., Butler with Rev. Steven Bechtold officiating.Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton, N.J., on Friday following the service.In lieu of flowers please make contrubutions to Chilton Memorial Intensive Care Unit, c/o Claire White, 97 West Parkway,Pompton Plains,N.J. 07444, in his memory.
