Phyllis T. Marion

Phyllis T. Marion, age 74, a life long resident of Butler, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mrs. Marion was born March 20, 1933 at Butler, NJ the daughter of the late Ellsworth and the late Agnes (Crum) Mitten. She was employed by Butler Senior Center Butler, NJ as a Care Taker.Mrs. Marion was a Charter Member of the Butler Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Senior Advisory Board for the Butler Senior Center, a Butler Crossing Guard and Police Matron, both in Butler, and also worked at Komar Inc., also in Butler. Devoted wife of the late Alfred William Marion Sr. Beloved mother of Clarice Marion and her husband Keith, Alfred William Jr., and his wife Kim, and the late Francis "Frankie" Marion. Cherished grandmother of Sean and his wife Lisa, Lee and his wife Diana, Amy, Krystle, Tyler, and great-grandmother of Justin, Erin, Sean Patrick, and Greg Poling. Also Survived by many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Sunday, December 30, 2007, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler. A funeral Service will be held Sunday at 8:30pm also at the funeral home.At the request of the family the final disposition will be held in private.Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's School, Butler, NJ
