Renske Kuiken

Renske Kuiken, age 68, of Franklin, NJ, formerly of Haledon, NJ, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, December 22, 2022. Mrs. Kuiken was born April 25, 1954, in Den Haag, Netherlands, the daughter of the late Bart and the late Johanna (Steenhuis) Van Bergen.

Renske grew up in Hawthorne where she went to Hawthorne High School. She loved being with her family and friends and baking Dutch pastries. Renske worked at Shear Perfection in Wyckoff, NJ and Anserve in Butler, NJ before retiring.  She is survived by her beloved children Erica Kuiken and her fiancée Michael J. Piersen and Richard A. Kiuken, her loving sister, Anja Strubel and her cherished grandchild, Richard Matthew Kuiken. Renske was predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard Alan Kuiken.

Viewing hours will be Friday, December 30th, 2022, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. A funeral service will be held Friday, 7:00pm  also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be private.
