Richard Jay Watt, age 63, of Butler died Friday, April 18, 2014 .Mr. Watt was born in Pequannock, NJ and was employed as a Shipping Manager for Butler Printing And Laminating in Butler for 33 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church, a former coach of youth football and baseball and had a passion for the Jersey Shore, fishing, gardening and the Butler Bulldogs. He is survived by his mother, Joanna (Decker) Watt, his children, Erica Jeanne Watt, Russell Jay Watt and Christopher Reed Watt, his siblings, John and wife Sandy of Saginaw, MI, Joan Lynch and husband Jack of Los Gatos, CA and sister in law Roseann Watt of Newtown, PA and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard was pre deceased by his devoted wife Anita, his father, Harold R. Watt and a lbrother, Timothy J. Watt. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Thursday 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, also in Butler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 14 Commerce Drive Cranford, NJ 07016, in his memory.
