Richard (Ricky) Thomas Sensbach, 30, of Kinnelon, NJ passed away on July 29, 2018 in his grandparents' home in Colchester, VT, overlooking his favorite place on earth, Lake Champlain. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 4 to 8PM at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler NJ. A funeral service will be held 11 AM on August 6, 2018 also at the funeral home.Ricky was born in Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock, NJ to Judith Bohn and Michael Sensbach on the 10th of October, 1987. Ricky graduated from Kinnelon High School in 2006. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for five years as a Senior Airman. Ricky was stationed in North Dakota, then deployed to South Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq.In 2015, Ricky graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the Ramapo College of New Jersey with a major in political science and a minor in international business. He was vice president of the Veterans Club and received numerous honors. Ricky was employed at the Blue Sky Diesel Exhaust Fluid Company in Carteret, NJ, where he held the position of Area Business Manager for the Northeast.Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ann and Tom Sensbach.Ricky is survived by his parents, Judith (John) Bohn and Michael (Aubrey) Sensbach; grandparents Richard and Charlotte Plath; the love of his life, Lauren Cassel; brothers and sisters, Kevin Sensbach, Linda Bohn, Julie (Donnie) Eckhardt, and James Bohn. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Thomas and Debra Marion-Sensbach, Lynn and Steve Simpson, Janet and Bill Vogt, and Peter Digangi, and his adoring cousins Paul and Jeffrey Hofer, Krysta (Daniel) Sensbach-Gassert and Erika Sensbach, Brian and Danielle Digangi, as well as his godmother, Catherine Evans and goddaughter Alyce Gassert.Ricky was a young, vibrant, charismatic man who cared for others above himself. Every room he walked into was immediately filled with the happiness and love that he exuded. In his short 30 years, he accomplished so much and touched the lives of so many people. Ricky was adored by everyone and will be in our hearts forever.In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ricky can be made to the Veterans Club of Ramapo College. The Veterans Club plays an integral part for veterans transitioning into civilian life.
