Rita Lenthe

Rita Lenthe, 86, a lifelong resident of Butler, NJ, passed away on on November 21, 2016. She was born in Butler to the late David E. and Anna (Riley) Fredericks. She graduated from Saint Anthony's Elementary School and Butler High School. Rita was predeceased by her best friend and loving brother David Fredericks Jr.. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 65 years, Robert W. Lenthe; her beloved children, Carol Pinto and husband John, Marie Tomasheski and husband Charles, Jean Chamberlain and husband Bruce, Robert Jr. and wife Penny and James and wife Christine; her 12 cherished grandchildren and her seven adored great-grandchildren. Rita's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her loving heart, bright smile and generous spirit. A viewing will be held Friday, November 25, 2016, from 3 to 7 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, 10 AM at St. Anthony's RC Church in Butler. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
