Robert "Bob" W. Drown Jr., 77, of Butler, New Jersey passed away June 13, 2021 after a brief illness. Born on September 9, 1943 in Childress, Texas, Bob was the eldest child of Robert and Claire (Keliher) Drown. Bob was an avid car enthusiast and took great pride in his 1948 Ford pickup truck. Many beautiful days were spent hanging with his car club friends at car shows all around the northeast. He was fondly remembered by many, including his co-workers, as being friendly, dedicated, and hardworking, traits that served him well in his career. He also loved the quiet and solitude while fishing with his sons at the reservoir. He passed on his love of baseball and the New York Mets to his children They all often cheered on the team, both on tv and in person. Bob was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be missed by many. Bob is survived by his five children: Tom (Loraine), Karen (Chuck), MaryEllen (Jim), Bob (Kim), and Keith; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister Cheryl (Ed), along with brothers Richard (Susan), and Christopher (Debra); special friend, Patty; and Matt, who was like a son. He was predeceased by his parents and his granddaughter Tori.
