Rodger F. Hamilton

Rodger F. Hamilton, age 88, of Toms River, formerly of Butler, died Thursday, January 28, 2010. Mr. Hamilton was born in Bloomingdale, NJ, the son of the late Elmer and the late Bessie (Ricker) Hamilton. He served in the Coast Guard from during WW II and for E.I. DuPont Pompton Lakes, NJ as a Quality Control Manager. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 loving years, Agnes (Brinster) Hamilton, his beloved children, Rodney and wife Lois, Lynn Linstra and late husband Gary, Dawn Wolzein and husband frank, and Kim Marion and husband Al, a loving sister Beverly Gilfillan and husband Gilly, a brother in law Leon Parkens, six cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Ian, Kimberly, Scott, Krystle, and Tyler, and three adored great grandchildren, Brianna, Emma, and Mia. Rodger was predeceased by a sister Betty Parkens. Visiting hours will be Sunday, January 31, 2010, from 2:00-6:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held in private. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler
