Roger Joseph Whritenour

Roger Joseph Whritenour, age 85, lifelong resident of West Milford died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 surrounded by his family. Mr. Whritenour was born in West Milford, NJ the son of the late Joseph and the late Martha (Smith) Whritenour. He served in the Army during World War II, he was a self employed mason contractor, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of St. Josephs RC Church. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Marilyn (Olive) Whritenour, three beloved children, Linda Cimprich and husband Steven, Gregory Whritenour and Mary Whritenour, one loving sister, Pauline Whritenour, thirteen cherished grandchildren and fourteen adored great-grandchildren. Roger was pre deceased by his dear daughter Laurie Giambalvo. Viewing hours will be Thursday, November 8th, 2012 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Friday 11:00am at St. Joseph's RC Church, West Milford. Burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Milford, NJ.
