Roger L. Veith, age 83, of Bloomingdale entered into eternal rest, Saturday, May 17, 2008 surrounded by his family. Mr. Veith was born in Madison, PA, the son of the late Oscar and the late Tina (Oakley) Veith. He served in the Army during World War II. He for Martha B. Day Elementary School, Bloomingdale, NJ as a Chief of Custodians, and Rogers Coffee Wagon which served local businesses for many years. Roger was a Past County Committeeman for the Democratic Party in Bloomingdale, and Past vice Commander for the John A. Dean American Legion Post 154, Butler, NJ. He is survived by his beloved daughter Elaine Doka and husband James, two loving sisters, Juanita Sisco and husband Art, and Eleanor Sanders, two cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Craig Doka, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Roger is pre deceased by his devoted wife Helen (Shenise), and an adored son Craig Veith.Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 20th, 2008, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
