Ronald R. Caparotta

Ronald R. Caparotta, age 76, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Ron was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Silvester and the late Daisy (Scimeca) Caparotta. First and foremost Ron loved his family and many friends. His wonderful sense of humor and willingness to always help anyone in need was just one of his strengths. Ron served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, where he repaired aircraft bodies. This led to a long career, proudly working as a welder at various shops through the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25. He was a man of many personal talents; an artist, a master gardener, an excellent cook and a wood crafter. Ron's true passion was salt water fishing in New Jersey and especially the Florida Keys. Visitation will be Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:00 also at the funeral home.
