Ronald T. Bishop

Ronald T. Bishop 46 of Jefferson Township,passed away on January 25, 2010 peacefully with his family and friends by his side. Born in Camp Le June N.C., Ron grew up in Bloomingdale before moving to Jefferson at age 15. He started a career at Picatinny as a mechanic and later learned skills for fiber optics & welding. He will always be remembered for the great love for the New York Yankees and the Oakland Raiders, but most of all for his devoted love & generosity for his friends and family, the love of his life for 12 years Bonnie May and a niece he loved dearly,like a daughter, Danielle Lenney,his sisters who were truly his best friends and the most adoring greatest love of all was his mother.He will be sadly missed.He is survived by his mother and Stepfather,Freda & Renard Galus,sisters Paige Bishop & Kimberly Librizzi, father Ronald J. Bishop, fiance Bonnie May,their dog Raptor, his best friend Gary Kennedy, and also his nieces and nephews, Chris, Erik, Danielle, Cole, Alexa, Gabriella, two Great nieces Kristen & Christiana,any many dear friends & relatives. Viewing hours will be Thursday, January 27, 2010, from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave.,Butler, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. The final disposition will be held in private.
