Rose E. Squitieri

Rose E. Squitieri, 98, lifelong resident of Butler, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 17, 2016. She was born in Bloomfield NJ, the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Sorgi. Rose was a parishioner at St. Anthony's Church in Butler, a beautiful person and a wonderful homemaker. She is survived by her beloved daughter Dolores Arata, her loving siblings, Anna Mugavero, Dorothy Pituch, Frank Sorgi, Anthony Sorgi and brother-in-law, Paul Barsz, her cherished grandchildren, Mark and Michael Arata and two adored great-grandchildren, John Herman Arata and Lauren Rose Arata. She was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Gaspar Herman Squitieri and her siblings, Rosalie Bagnasco, Vincent Sorgi Josephine Gervasi and Frances Barsz. Also surviving on many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be offered Tuesday, November 22, 2016, 11 AM, at St. Anthony's Church in Butler NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery also in Butler. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude's Childrens Research Hospital,262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Butler Police Association PO Box 2, Butler, NJ, in her memory.
