Rosemarie Carlyon Allen

Rosemarie Carlyon Allen, age 89, of Southern Pines, NC, formerly of Butler, NJ, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Allen was born in Paterson, NJ. She worked for First National Bank Of Bloomingdale, NJ before retiring and was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church and a member of it's Rosary Altar Society, a member of the Paterson Diocese of Catholic Women, the Little Sisters of the Poor Auxiliary and volunteered at St. Claire's Denville Hospital. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Mary Allen Florit and husband Dennis and Elizabeth Allen Colasurdo and husband Anthony, her loving sister, Patricia Carlyon Riley and husband Joel, six cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Kristin, Michelle, Jessica and Anthony, two adored great grandchildren Peyton and Alexis and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Richard Charles Carlyon, her mother, Elizabeth (Thompson), step-father,Richard Carlyon and Kelso Edge. Viewing hours will be Thursday, May 7th ,2015 from 9:00am-10:30am at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. NJ. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
