Roy J. Spadaro

Roy J Spadaro, age 95, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Paterson, died Thursday, March 21, 2013. Mr. Spadaro was born Newark, NJ the son of the late Giovanni and the late Grace (La Face) Spadaro. He was a retired Army Veteran who proudly served his country in WWII, worked as an Administrator for the US Social Security Administration in Paterson, was a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church in Pompton Lakes and St. Josephs RC Church in Paterson, was a member of the Holy Name Society and was a founding member of the North Jersey Cycling Club. He is survived by his beloved children, Raymond and wife Vicky, John and wife Diane, Grace Spadaro-Faust and husband Jim and Ron and wife Rosanne, ten cherished grandchildren, Jody, Justin and wife Jennifer, Josh, Erin, Morgan, Tori, Daniel, Jamie, Jenna and James and two cherished great-grandchildren, Dixon and Kennedy. Roy was pre deceased by his devoted wife Margaret (McVey) and a dear son, Roy Jr. Viewing hours will be Monday, March 25th ,2013 from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 10:00am at St. Mary's RC Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
