Russell John Mickens

Russell John Mickens, Jr., age 79, of Butler, died Saturday, August 13, 2011. Mr. Mickens was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Russell John and the late Bridget (Fitzpatrick) Mickens. He proudly served in the Army during Korean war, was a life member of Kinny Hose Co. in Butler, a coach for the Junior Bulldogs football club and a coach in the Triboro Little League. He was worked as a postal clerk for 32 years in the Post Office in Butler, NJ. He is survived by his beloved children, Michael Mickens, Linda Krowska, Mark Mickens and wife Ruth and Steven and wife Cheryl, a loving brother, John Mickens and wife Rosanne and his 7 cherished grandchildren. Russell was predeceased by his grandson Eric Joseph Mickens in 1998. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
