Ruth L. Ackerman

Ruth L. Ackerman, age 92, of Butler, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Mrs. Ackerman was born in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late James and the late Catherine (Weher) Ackerman. Ruth was a member of the Pompton Lakes and Wanaque Golden Agers, the Butler and Bloomingdale XYZ's, a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church and a Girl Scout Leader for 12 years. Ruth worked for E.I. DuPont, Pompton Lakes, NJ on the Management Team before retiring. She is survived by her beloved children, Cathleen Hille and husband Steven, Ruthann Jensen and husband Joseph and Clinton James Ackerman and wife Gavina, a loving sister in law, Madeline Ackerman, her cherished grandchildren, Dana Williams, Cara Belvedere, Megan McPartlin, Clinton E. Ackerman, Alex Hille, Shane Hille, her adored great grandchildren, Leah and Aimee Williams and Dominick Belevedere. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She is pre deceased by her devoted husband, Clinton W. Ackerman. Viewing hours will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
