Ruth M Lamoureaux

Ruth M. Lamoureaux, age 71, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Vernon and Butler, died Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was a loving, caring mother and a devoted wife. She was a parishioner of St. Anthonys RC Church in Butler and volunteered her time at Holy Spirit RC Church in Pompton Plains, NJ. Mrs. Lamoureaux was born in Haskell, NJ the daughter of the late Dugald and the late Marie (Kronenberger) MacKinnon. She is survived by her husband of 51 loving years, Edward P. Lamoureaux, her beloved children, son Ed and wife Debbie, daughter Peggy Onorato and husband Michael, and son Chris and wife Lauren, a loving sister, MaryAnn Hobaugh and six cherished grandchildren, Michael and Kristyn Onorato, Phillip Lamoureaux, Cameron Lamoureaux and Laura and Jimmy Dolio. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her twin babies, Yvonne and a baby boy, and her dear siblings, Anne Jobes, Joan Beers, Lois Sanders and Richard MacKinnon. Viewing hours will be Friday, September 27th ,2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of New Jersey, 24 Hamburg Turnpike, 6th floor Inpatient Unit, Wayne, NJ 07470, in her memory.
