Ruth S. Gleason

Ruth S Gleason, age 93, of Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, formerly of Basking Ridge, died Friday, October 10, 2014. Mrs. Gleason was born in New York, NY the daughter of the late Hendrick and the late Adeline Stoffer. She worked as an elementary school teacher and a reading specialist for various school districts. Ruth attended Montclair State University where she met her husband, the late Kenneth Gleason, and held a Masters Degree. Ruth lived in different areas including New Hampshire, Florida, and various parts of New Jersey. She is survived by her nieces, Janet Ryans and Kathy Rogers and a nephew Stan Rogers. All services will be held in private.
