Sandra J Jaretsky

Sandra J. Jaretsky, 84 of Pompton Plains, formerly of Bloomingdale, passed away peacefully, February 28, 2020. Sandra was the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys (Shippee) Kohrs. Sandra loved spending time with family and friends, the Jersey shore sunsets, and gambling in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She supported and donated to the Special Olympics and St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years John Jaretsky, loving children, Brian Jaretsky and his wife Lisa, Mark Jaretsky and his wife Dorothy, Lisa Kleissler and her husband David and son in law, Jason Vandertoorn. Also surviving are her adored grandchildren, Chloe and Matthew Jaretsky, Eric Vandertoorn and his wife Jamie, Janie Egan and her husband Sean, Valerie and Anna Jaretsky, and cherished great grandson Tanner Vandertoorn. Sandra was predeceased by her daughter Dana Vandertoorn. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered Wednesday 8pm also at The Morrison Funeral Home. The final disposition will be private.
