Sara Ann Almeida

A beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and BEST friend, Sara Ann (Bolduc) Almeida left us unexpectedly on June 3rd, 2021. Born in New Britain, CT on May 18, 1983 to Christopher and Ofelia (Gomez) Bolduc, Sara grew up in Avon, CT, where she attended Avon public schools and graduated from Avon High School in 2001. Sara later received her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Tunxis Community College. Sara moved to New Jersey in 2015 and was employed by Rollins, Inc. as an inside sales associate. Sara was a lover of fashion, music, food, and comedy. She had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh. She was outgoing, vivacious, fiercely loyal to her family and friends, and also had a deep introspective side. Sara treasured family vacations in Cape Cod and Los Cabos. We will always remember her kindness, her thoughtfulness, her caring personality, her infectious smile, her laugh, and her outpouring of love. Sara's presence in our lives will be forever missed and never forgotten. When you think of Sara, celebrate the fond memories you have of her. Sara reminded us Life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Lilia Gomez, and her fraternal grandparents, Alcide and Elizabeth Bolduc. She leaves behind her parents, her grandfather Agustin Gomez, her brother Timothy and his wife Jennifer, and nieces Rachel and Emma, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Mass celebrating Sara's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 1st, at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon, CT. A reception at the church will immediately follow. Because of Sara's love for her pet bunny, Rex, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made in Sara's name to the Connecticut Humane Society (https://cthumane.org). .
