Sarah Van Der Toorn

Sarah van der Toorn, age 81, of West Milford, died Friday, February 19, 2010. Mrs. van der Toorn was born in Kearny, NJ the daughter of the late James and the late Elizabeth (Lee) Ryans. She was a wonderful homemaker, a familiar face at the election poles in West Milford, and attended the West Milford Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Eugene H. and wife Bette and Jason and wife Dana, four cherished grandchildren, Marjory, Alex, Eric and Janie, and two adored great grand children, Ben and Dan. Also surviving are a niece and a nephew. Sarah was pre deceased by her devoted husband Eugene E. van der Toorn. Viewing hours will be Monday, February 22nd, 2010, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00am also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler.
