Selene Rose von Bartheld 95, of River Edge, passed away, Wednesday April 3rd, 2019. Selene was born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late George and Adele Behsman. Selene was a member and volunteer at the St Matthews Episcopal Church in River Edge was artistically creative and was a world traveler. She is survived by her beloved children, Jon von Bartheld and wife Ellie, Kim Contini and husband Bruce and Kit von Bartheld and wife Annette, seven cherished grandchildren, Taryn Wong, Chelsea Blanchard, Chris and Eric Contini, Sara von Bartheld, Craig von Bartheld, and Taylor von Bartheld and her three cherished great grandchildren, Sawyer Blanchard, Jaxon Blanchard and Casen Wong. Selene was predeceased by her devoted husband, Fred. Viewing hours will be held from 5pm to 7 PM on Friday, April 5, 2019, at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler NJ. A funeral service will be held 9:30 AM also at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
