Serene M. Murphy

Serene M. Murphy, age 67, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, July 20, 2012 surrounded by her family.Mrs. Murphy was born in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Anthony and the late Adelaide Margaret (Beninati) Calco. She was a graduate of Berkley Secretarial School before she took on the job she loved the most, wife and mother. She is survived by her devoted husband, Martin F. Murphy, three beloved daughters, Colleen Naboicheck, Serene Hennion and Melissa Murtha, four loving sisters, Margaret Ann Frawley, Linda Clark, Patricia Pizzano and Pamela Titmas, her dear father in law, Martin J. Murphy, eight dear brother in laws and two sister in laws, Michael Murphy, George Murphy, Frank Murphy, Kathleen Byrnes, Kevin Murphy, Sean Murphy, Brian Murphy, Terrance Murphy, Timothy Murphy and Marjorie Murphy, seven cherished grandchildren, Edward Petka, Kyle Petka, Tristan Naboicheck, Ally Hennion and Matthew Hennion, Liam Murtha and Morgan Murtha, her faithful dog, Seamas and her loving nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Monday, July 23, 2012, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 11:00am at St. Joseph's RC Church, West Milford, NJ. The final disposition will be private.
