Shirley A. Romain

Shirley A.Romain, age 78, of Butler, NJ, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Mrs. Romain was born in Bethlehem, PA the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Anna Gubich. She was a parishioner of St. Anthonys RC Church in Butler. She lived for her 4 Boys and her many grandchildren. She lived everyday like it was her last, and looked forward to the day when she could reunite in heaven with the love of her life Art Romain Sr. Before she passed she had stated" I had a great life, a great life with dad and you boys, I am thankful". Today Shirley goes home again, forever in our hearts. She is survived by her beloved sons,Peter and wife Ann, Joseph and wife Pam, Arthur Jr. and Stephen Sr. and wife Terry, twelve cherished grandchildren, Regina, Danielle, Dillon, Shannon, Liam, Stephen Jr, Christopher, Ryan, Nicole, Louis and Caitlin. Shirley was pre deceased by her devoted husband, Arthur Sr. Viewing hours will be Friday, January 31st, 2014, from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be Celebrated Saturday 9:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery also in Butler.******The family requests that all relatives and friends meet at church Saturday, there will be no activity at the funeral home******
