Shirley M. Collins

Shirley M. Collins, age 91, of Pequannock, died Sunday, October 6, 2019. Mrs. Collins was born in Bloomingdale, NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Catherine (Brown) De Puyt. She is survived by her devoted husband of 75 years, Donald S. Collins Sr., her beloved children, Linda, Donald Jr., Stephen, Jeffrey, Michael, Noreen, Peggy and Jonathan, many "outlaws", 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her first great great grandchild due in early 2020. She loved to knit, crochet and made many afghans for each wedding and new birth. Shirley was an avid Mets fan! She was predeceased by her 4th child, Nanci. Viewing hours will be Thursday, October 10th ,2019, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in her memory.
