Silvano Pocci

POCCI- Silvano, age 82, of Butler, NJ, formerly of Kinnelon, NJ, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, May 16, 2009. Mr. Pocci was born in Tuscany, Italy, the son of the late Italo and the late Maria (Contrucci) Pocci. Silvano was the former owner of Pocci Machine Co. in Elmwood Park, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, and a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps. He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty years, Mary (Duffy), and his two beloved sons Steven John Pocci, and Michael Patrick Pocci. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing hours will be Monday, May 18th, 2009, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm, at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday 9:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. The final disposition will be held in private.
