Silvio 'Sil' De Pascale

Silvio "Sil" De Pascale, 76, born on August 29, 1936 in Yatesville, PA, peacefully passed away on January 4, 2013 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. He was greeted into Heaven by his predeceased parents, Angelo and Frances De Pascale, and his grandparents, Silvio and Louise De Pascale.Silvio, a long-time resident of Bloomingdale, NJ, was raised in West New York, NJ. After completing high school, he attended a technical trade school. He was later employed as a manager at Lipton Tea Company in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Silvio married Harriett Smith on July 13, 1957. They were happily married for 55 years. His love of all sports led him to volunteer his time as a coach and manager for both the Tri-boro Little League and Butler PAL football for over 13 years. He also enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball and played for many years on the PK Men's Fast Pitch League. He also loved dancing, swimming, gambling, traveling with his wife and family, and spending his time "relaxing" at his second home in Spring Hill, FL.Silvio is survived by his devoted wife, Harriett De Pascale of Bloomingdale, NJ; His beloved daughter, Donna Laurice and WayneMohns; His beloved son, Michael De Pascale and wife Angela; His cherished granddaughters, Kerrianne Rose and husband Bryan and Kelli Laurice; His adored great grandson, George and his expected great grandson, Silvio; His loving siblings Guy De Pascale and wife Jeannie, Louise Sompel and Marion Shannon; His Aunts, Marie Hillas and Helen De Pascale, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. You were always our angel on earth, even with no words, we continue to hear you guiding us and we find comfort in knowing that you will now and forever remain our angel from Heaven.In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations be made to: Brady's Bright Side 89 Carey Ave Butler, NJ 07405 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Church, 65 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ on January 19,2013 at 11:00am.
