Stacy Ann Scharf was born March 16, 1969. She passed away on August 31, 2024. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Ann and her father Robert. She is survived by her Aunt Ann Smith, Aunt Alberta Neiberding, Uncle Richard Greco, Fr. Raymond Greco, also known as Uncle Billy, Uncle John Greco, her two foster sisters Thuy and Duyen, her niece Emma and many cousins.
Stacy graduated from Edison High School. She moved from North Arlington to Edison to Wayne and then to her home in Butler. She worked several jobs before landing her position at ShopRite where she stayed for 25 years. She was well known by staff and customers alike and rarely missed a day. She was a hard worker and a dedicated employee until her retirement.
Stacy loved doing paint by numbers, watching football, going out to lunch with her cousins and most of all watching her favorite soap opera. She could fill you in on every detail in a heartbeat. Stacy was a good example of someone who didn't ask for or expect much, but appreciated all she had. Her life was beautifully simple. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith and she always said her daily prayers.
Stacy was part of a large extensive family who loved her very much. Even though there were many aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins, Stacy never missed an opportunity to call each one individually and wish them happy birthday, happy anniversary, or just to say hi when the mood hit her. She knew all these family milestones without looking at a calendar. Everyone expected their birthday call from Stacy.
Her family will now have a void that she once filled. She will be terribly missed and forever loved. It is only with the consolation that she is now back with her mother and father in Heaven that we know Stacy is at peace. Godspeed.
