Stephen J Wubbenhorst

Stephen J Wubbenhorst, formerly of Kinnelon, died peacefully at home in Stanhope on January 20, 2014 after a long illness. Mr Wubbenhorst was born in Queens, New York and lived in Massapequa Park, New York before moving to the Fayson Lakes section of Kinnelon where he lived for many years. He was a sales representative for the Campbell Soup Company prior to retirement. Stephen was a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina and had an avid interest in sports, music, movies and Civil War History. Stephen is survived by his domestic partner, Cathy DeRosa of Stanhope, his children: Bradley Wubbenhorst of Philadelphia, PA, Casey Yunker of Pittsfield, MI, Scott Dopierala of Portland, Or, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers Peter Wubbenhorst of Trinity, FL and Andrew Wubbenhorst of Kinnelon. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014, 1:00-3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Magnificat RC Church, 2 Miller Rd. Kinnelon, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday 3:00 PM also at church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift to the Amercian Cancer Society will be appreciated.
