Steven Ernest Murphy

Steven Ernest Murphy, 63, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away suddenly on July 20, 2021. Steven was born in Boonton, NJ to the late Ernest W. and the late Genevieve (Maligoli) Murphy. Steven worked as a Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter. He liked working on cars, riding motorcycles, fixing things in general, and taking care of his home. Steven is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Linda, his loving children, Michael Ernest John Murphy and his wife Tasha, Tina Marie Coviello and her husband James Michael, siblings, Kenneth Murphy and his wife Sandra, Laurie Liloia and her husband Nick, Gary Murphy and his wife Barbara, and George Aupperlee. Also surviving are his adored grandchildren, Christina and Dominic Coviello and Emma Murphy. Visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 8:00 pm also on Friday at the funeral home, and will be live streamed, at the link below**. Final disposition will be private.
