Thelma B. Mcconnell

Thelma B. McConnell, age 71, of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Thursday, January 14, 2016. Mrs. McConnell was born in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Thelma (Shaw) Parisi. She graduated from Butler High School and was an office assistant for Drs. Ambrose & Bazzini in Wayne, NJ before she retired. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 loving years, George McConnell, her beloved children, George and wife Lorrie, Darrin and wife Roxanne, Chad and wife Dana and Dustin and wife Cheryl, her loving brother, Ronnie Parisi, nine cherished grandchildren and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her brothers Jerry and Vinnie Parisi. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, January 16th, 2016, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A memorial service will be offered on Saturday at 8pm also at the funeral home. All other services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation.
