Thelma Ruth Marion

In the company of family, T. Ruth Marion of Butler, NJ passed away at home on February 19th 2021.She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Marion. Ruth is survived by 5 children: Greg of San Antonio, TX, Wayne of Lafayette, NJ, Linda of Sussex, NJ, Phillip of Wanaque, NJ and Lisa of Butler, NJ. She is survived as well by 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ruth was born in Prospect Park, NJ in June of 1931 and grew up in Kinnelon, NJ. She was a long-time member of the Church of the Nazarene in Butler. For a number of years Ruth served as a bible school teacher at Christ Chapel in Kinnelon. Ruth frequently attended Sunday service at Hawthorne Gospel Church over the past two years. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25th 2021, from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, February 26th, also at the funeral home Burial will immediately follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Valley Rd, Boonton Township, NJ. The new limit on indoor gatherings for facilities is 50% of the maximum allowable building occupancy. Morrison Funeral Home will be able to accept 50 people at a time wearing masks and practicing social distancing. Visitors will be required to use hand sanitizer. Temperatures will be taken. .
