Thomas Philip Mangieri

Thomas Philip Mangieri, age 94, of Butler entered eternal rest Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Mr. Mangieri was born in the Bronx, NY, the son of the late Philip and the late Josephine (Bracco) Mangieri. Mr. Mangieri was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church since 1974. Tom was an Army Air Corps. veteran of WWII, a member of the GEORGE P. SIEK TRI-BORO VFW Post 8096, and graduated from St. Johns University with degrees in accounting and history. He was a hard working family man who loved to bowl and woodwork. He is survived by his beloved children, Catherine Zittel and her husband Christopher and Fr. Thomas Mangieri and a cherished grandchild Mary Rose . Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Tom was pre deceased by his devoted wife Rose. Viewing hours will be Saturday, October 2nd , 2010 from 9am to 10:30am at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday 11:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. At the request of the family the internment will be held in private.
