Thomas W. Walters, II, 93 of Wayne, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Chicago, IL., to the late Thomas W. and Helen (Schultz) Walters. His family moved to Haledon, NJ, where he trained at Whiteys Gym in Paterson, NJ and was a 2-time Diamond Glove Champion.Tom was a Korean War veteran and worked for PSE & G as an Equipment Operator for 35 years. He was happily married for 67 years to his wife Tess. They enjoyed traveling to Kennebunkport ME., the Jersey Shore, cruising to Alaska, the Panama Canal and Bermuda, and trips to the Casinos. Tom is survived by his loving children, Margery Selfridge and her husband Robert, Thomas W. Walters and his wife Pamela, and James J. Walters, five adored grandchildren and three cherished great grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa (Sgambelluri) Walters in 2020. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 9:00 am-10:30 am at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 10:30 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
