Thomasina Cera

Thomasina Cera, 98, of Riverdale, NJ, died Sunday, May 29, at Care One in Wayne. Born in Barrea, Italy,in 1912, she emigrated to America in 1925. A seamstress, she last worked at Reiss Mfg. Co. in Bloomingdale. She had lived in Riverdale for 56 years before moving to Care One. She was pre-deceased by husband, Joseph, and her daughter, Loretta Mathews. She is survived by her son, Anthony, her grandchildren, Christopher and Marco Cera, Christine Mathews Cole, Eileen Mathews, and four great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Mary Louise DiLoreto and Carmela Beronja. She epitomized devotion to family and will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 10am at Our Lady of Magificat RC Church ,Kinnelon, NJ, with a burial to follow at Our Lady of Magificat Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 9:00-10:00 AM also at Our Lady of Magiificat RC Church
