Timothy M. Morrison

Timothy M. Morrison, age 59, of Kinnelon, formerly of Butler, passed away, Monday, December 4, 2017. Mr. Morrison was born in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late William Francis and the late Ruth Lillian (Adkins) Morrison. He was the owner of The Morrison Funeral Home in Butler, NJ, and a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he received the Russler Award for Applied Embalming in 1980. Tim was a former member of the Bloomingdale Planning Board from 1994 to 1997 and the Butler Board of Adjustments 1997-1999, a member of the Morris County Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Tim also belonged to the Armature Softball Association, the Lakeland Umpires Association, a baseball, softball, basketball and soccer official and was selected as a lifelong member of the "Whos Who" . He is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Lisa (Cook) Morrison, his dear step daughter, Kaitlin Hearle, his loving brother William F. Morrison Jr. and a beloved aunt, Rita Murray. Viewing hours will be Thursday, December 7th , 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A mass will be offered Friday 10am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
