Verna E. Morse

Verna E. Morse, age 85, of Butler, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the Renaissance Gardens, Pompton Plains.Miss Morse was born December 25, 1920 in Butler, N.J., the daughter of the late Douglas and the late Margie (Hopler) Morse. She was employed by Butler Board Of Education, Butler, NJ as a Secretary For Supervisor Of Principals, for 47 years.Miss Morse was a member of Kinnelon United Methodist Church, Kinnelon, N.J.She is survived by her siblings, Douglas Morse and his wife Joan, Mary Aquadro, Jean Herrick and husband Bill, Marge Warner and husband Jake, Helen Guenter and husband Jack, and Barbara Bailey and husband Robert. Many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews also survive her. Visiying hours will be Sunday, October 1, 2006, from 2:00 to 4:00pm & 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. The funeral service will be Monday, October 2, 2006, 10:00am also at the funeral home.Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler on Monday at 11:00 am.
